The Astronomical Society of Malta (ASM) needs you!
If you are a member of the ASM and aged 16 and over then you are eligible to serve on its committee. Every year the ASM seeks enthusiastic members to fill the various committee roles as per its Statute. The ASM welcomes members from diverse backgrounds to join and contribute their unique perspectives and experience.
Do I need a science degree in astronomy to serve on the committee?
Absolutely, no. In the past, the committee has been enriched by the participation and contribution of individuals from various professions, including engineers, architects, accountants, managers, teachers, doctors, and more. We believe that a diverse ranges of experiences and knowledge will help us achieve the Society’s main goal of educating people in the science of astronomy. Therefore, we encourage individuals from all walks of life to get involved in the committee and make a difference to the Astronomical Society of Malta.
