Maltastro Alerts is an open WhatsApp messaging group set up by Alexei Pace (former President of the Astronomical Society of Malta) in November 2016 for the purpose of quickly sharing last-minute information and events. To join the WhatsApp group, you do not need to be a member of the Astronomical Society of Malta, although we encourage you to become one. Maltastro Alerts is free and open to all space enthusiasts.
Follow these steps to join the Maltastro Alerts group:

- On the subsequent page, click the JOIN CHAT button
- If WhatsApp is not installed on your device you will be asked to download it or use WhatsApp Web (for desktops)
- Follow the instructions provided to you at WhatsApp Web
Note: Maltastro Alerts is an open group and thus it is prohibited to share details of events organised by the Astronomical Society of Malta in this group.
