It is once again time for an Astronomical Society of Malta event. This time around we are going to focus on Mars. Currently, Mars is at the closest it is going to be in 15 years. Its closest approach was on the 14th of October.
Due to the Covid-19 health restrictions, the event will be held online. We will start with a short talk on Mars by one of our members and former President Mr Alexei Pace and then, weather permitting, we will switch to a public live viewing of Mars courtesy of another member, Mr Kurt Catania.
The event will take place on Saturday the 7th of November and the talk will start at 7:00 pm. The Live stream on YouTube will start at around 7:30 pm.
The Link to the event talk will be sent to our members by email, however, we will also be streaming the live viewing of Mars on YouTube.
We hope to see you all !
