German Maltese Circle Valletta

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Astronomical Society will convene on Friday, 30 th January 2004 at 18:30 at the German Maltese Circle (St. Christopher Street Valletta) with the following Agenda:
- Reading of minutes of last AGM
- Presidential report
- Administrative report
- Financial report
- Meteor Group report
- Light Pollution Awareness Group report
- Motions and proposed amendments to the Statute
- Election of the Committee for 2004
- Any other matters.
For a list of the retiring committee members for the year 2003 please refer to box on page 2.
Membership Fees
Only paid-up members are eligible to vote in the election for the new committee. Membership fees are as follows:
Senior members: 1 yr Lm 5 / 2 yrs Lm 9 / 3 yrs Lm 13
Junior members: 1 yr Lm 3.50 (under 16 years of age)
These include subscriptions to the Newsletter and the Big Bang and may be paid during Society activities or submitted via a cheque (payable to the Astronomical Society of Malta) or money order to the Treasurer, The Astronomical Society, P.O. Box 174, Valletta CMR 01.
ELECTION OF THE COMMITTEE FOR 2004
Applications to contest the election for a seat on the committee of the Society have been received from the following:
