Established in 1984, the Astronomical Society of Malta has the aim of promoting education and interest in the science of astronomy.

We seek to enhance public knowledge about the Universe and promote the preservation of the Maltese dark sky heritage inherited from our ancestors.

The Astronomical Society of Malta is a registered voluntary organisation (VO/0239) regulated under the Voluntary Organisations Act (Chapter 492 of the Laws of Malta).
